Authenticity

Last updated: 24 September 2026.

At BambaKicks we know that when you buy sneakers, streetwear or a special collaboration, one of the most important questions is simple: is the product authentic?

That is why we want to clearly explain how we approach the selection and presentation of products in our store, what information we review and what customers can expect when buying from BambaKicks.

1. Our priority: authentic, accurately described products

BambaKicks aims to sell genuine products and provide clear information about brand, model, reference, condition and characteristics.

We want each product page to contain enough information to identify the item correctly and understand exactly what is being purchased.

When a relevant characteristic exists — for example a limited edition, special collaboration, different box, specific condition or product particularity — we aim to state it visibly.

2. Product selection

Before adding a product to the catalogue, we assess the available information about the item and its origin. Depending on the product, we may review brand and model, official release name, reference or SKU, colorway, size, box or packaging, labels, included accessories, general condition and information supplied by the source seller or supplier.

The level of review may vary according to product type, source and available information.

3. Sneakers and special releases

For products particularly exposed to the replica market — such as high-demand sneakers, collaborations or limited releases — we pay special attention to whether the available product information is consistent with the advertised model.

References, labels, materials, construction, finishes, accessories, packaging and overall consistency may be reviewed. These elements can vary between factories, production years, regions and units of the same model, so an isolated difference does not necessarily mean a product is not authentic.

4. Product origin

Origin varies by item. Products may come from standard distribution channels, retailers, specialist platforms, individuals or secondary markets.

Resale and secondary markets are common in sneakers and streetwear, particularly for sold-out or limited releases. Where origin has a relevant particularity, we aim to reflect it in the product description.

5. New, used or special-condition products

Authenticity and condition are different issues. An authentic product may still show wear, small manufacturing defects, box damage, storage marks, missing original accessories, signs of fitting or handling, or differences between units from the same production run.

If an item is not completely new or has a special condition, this should be stated on the product page.

6. Boxes and packaging

For sneakers, the box is an important part of the buying experience, but its condition does not always match the condition of the product. A box may show minor dents, scuffs, logistics labels, storage marks or transport damage without affecting product authenticity.

If packaging condition is especially relevant, we aim to state it on the relevant product page.

7. Included accessories

Some models may include extra laces, tags, bags, papers or special accessories. Where relevant accessories are included, we aim to list them. If an original accessory is missing, we also aim to disclose this where relevant to the purchase.

8. Manufacturing variations

Authentic products are not always identical to one another. Large-scale manufacturing can produce small variations in stitching, glue, shape, finishing, printing, shades, positioning of elements or material textures.

Such variations can occur even in products bought directly from official stores and should not automatically be treated as evidence of counterfeiting.

9. Product photographs

Images used in the store may be photographs of the exact item, catalogue images, supplier images or representative images of the model.

Where the exact visual condition of a unit matters — for example for used products or specific defects — we aim to show or describe it in more detail. Colours may vary slightly depending on lighting, camera or screen.

10. SKU, references and model names

Where possible, we use official references, SKUs or recognised model names to help customers identify the product. The same model may sometimes appear under slightly different commercial names depending on the country, retailer or platform, so the product reference can be especially useful.

11. Third-party brands

BambaKicks may sell products from third-party brands. Names, logos or brands such as Nike, Jordan, adidas, New Balance, Stüssy, Supreme and others are used to identify the products sold.

Unless expressly stated, BambaKicks does not claim to be an official representative, authorised distributor or affiliated company of those brands.

12. Secondary market and pricing

For certain limited products, market price may be above or below the original retail price. This is common with sold-out sneakers, collaborations and limited-supply items.

A price different from the original retail price does not by itself determine authenticity.

13. What we do if we have doubts about a product

If reasonable doubts arise during selection or review regarding authenticity or the consistency of available information, our intention is not to offer the item as authentic until sufficient information is available.

Customer trust is more important than adding a product to the catalogue.

14. If a customer has doubts after receiving an order

If you receive a product purchased from BambaKicks and have reasonable doubts about its authenticity, contact us before carrying out any handling that could affect the item.

You can write to bambakicks@gmail.com with your order number, affected product, the specific reason for the doubt and clear photographs where useful.

We will review the available order information and handle the issue in accordance with consumer rights and our sales policies.

15. Authenticity and legal guarantee

Authenticity forms part of the conformity of the goods sold. If an item sold as authentic did not in fact match what was advertised, a lack of conformity may exist and consumer-law rights would apply.

See our Warranties and Complaints page for more information.

16. Authenticity and returns

Customers retain the legal withdrawal and return rights that apply to them. Full information is available in Exchanges, Returns and Withdrawal.

17. Transparency before purchase

If you have questions about a specific product characteristic before buying, contact us. We would rather resolve a question before purchase than create a poor experience afterwards.

18. Our commitment

BambaKicks grew from a passion for sneakers and streetwear. We know that behind certain pairs there is much more than a product: releases, collaborations, design, culture and often months spent searching for a particular size.

We aim to build the store on three principles: transparency about what we sell, clear information about product condition and characteristics, and real support when customers have questions or issues.

We do not want BambaKicks to be only a place to buy sneakers. We want it to be a store where you can buy knowing what you are buying.

If we would not trust the product ourselves, we do not want to offer it to you.

19. Contact

For any question about authenticity, a product or an order, email bambakicks@gmail.com or use our contact page.
